We have our Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy, but we actually don't treat patients anymore. We both knew in our last year of our graduate programs that we weren't going to be fulfilled as staff clinicians...
We were those kids that always sat at the back of the room not paying attention and researching other nerdy things...
And after our rotations of seeing our peers working 10+ hours a day only to still feel behind financially due to overwhelming student loan debt, we found ourselves studying about online marketing and online courses in our free time. The funny thing is, one of us lived in Utah and one of us lived in Pennsylvania.
We met each other through a mentor's online academy and discovered we were getting on a lot of phone calls with healthcare business owners who needed help marketing their practices online. After a few Facebook messages, we realized we were both answering the same questions over and over again. That's when we thought, why not start a Facebook group so we can have all of the videos that we're sending people stored in one place?
That group, Healthcare Digital Marketing, launched in the summer of 2017, was the beginning of what would become Healthy Funnel, LLC. We continue, to this day, teaching healthcare providers the basics of online marketing and online business so that they can have more options in their lives.
Our primary focus the first 2 years of our business was on helping Physical Therapy business owners advertise their clinics online through our program, Ads for Physical Therapists, and through private done-for-you services. That program went on to help 100+ clinic owners, but it wasn't what truly filled up our cups with energy!
What got our juices flowing the most was helping healthcare providers start and grow their own online businesses. Why?
Well, it's how our business operates and we feel most at home teaching others the process we apply to our own business.
